BEAVER VALLEY PHILHARMONIC

Bruce lauffer, music director

The Beaver Valley Philharmonic strives to enrich the cultural life of an increasingly wide area, attracting listeners from throughout the tri-state area.  The BVP is comprised of approximately 60 professional musicians.  In addition, select students from the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School have the opportunity to perform with the BVP on concerts throughout the season.  These students sit side-by-side with the professional musicians in a wonderful learning environment.  Students learn first hand the workings and demands of the life of a professional musician and at the same time, have the chance to make music at the highest of levels.
